Hannah Tufnell

Head of Marketing and Communications

Hannah joined HBA Media in October 2019 having assisted the team since 2017 on marketing and communication strategies.


She also holds a lifelong association with horse racing and the promotion of the sport. A 17-year partnership with Channel 4 Television saw Hannah work on a range of sports including cricket and the prestigious 2005 Ashes victory, rally and horse racing.


She managed Channel 4 Racing’s press and marketing campaigns for all racedays and events; including the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National Meeting, Royal Ascot and international contests - Dubai World Cup and Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. A major highlight for Hannah was being an active member of the C4 team that successfully secured a 10million audience for the Grand National and implementing the award-winning marketing (print and tv) campaigns for the national event.


Further experience includes a two-year association with Goodwood Racecourse, securing them two RCA Showcase Digital Awards for their creative social media content and Event Management with Racing Welfare.


Working part-time, Hannah also manages media relations and talent management for Frankie Dettori and other horse racing personalities.
