Broadcast Director

Denise is widely recognised as one of the leading live outside broadcast directors. HBA works with Denise on many of our major horse racing properties, as well as her playing a pivotal role in the annual Saudi Arabia horse racing calendar of events.

Former experience includes some 20+ years as programme director/producer on the award-winning Channel 4 Racing, where Denise was awarded a BAFTA and nominated on four occasions for the coverage. In 2015, Denise won the multi camera director RTS Award for the Grand National and the Broadcast Award for the Grand National Best Sports 2014.

Amongst her other credits are the The Queen’s Funeral Coverage, The King’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey (both for ITV), the BBC’s coverage of the Burghley Horse Trials, the European Eventing Championships from Blenheim, Olympia Horse Show for Eurosport and the World Equestrian Games in USA. NHK’s Wimbledon coverage, the UK Indoor Athletics Championship for Channel 4, World Canoe Slalom Championships BBC/World Feed, RTE Producer/Director Racing Ireland. Denise has also enjoyed a career in light entertainment including working on Question Time, The Big Breakfast and Have I got News For You.
